Our Mission
American Christian Values is a non-profit organization committed to providing Biblical resources to help you grow in your individual walk with Jesus; and empower you to defend your faith in Him. Along with giving you the tools to stand up for God in a spiritually dark culture.
Our STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God's written word, and without error. The Bible reveals who God is, the spiritual separation of man from God, the way of salvation, and how to have a personal relationship with God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17, Psalm 119:160, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
God
We believe that God the father created the universe and everything in it. God is responsible for judging mankind of its sin; He sent His Son Jesus Christ to provide salvation from sin for anyone who believes in Him. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. (Matthew 9:23, Ephesians 1:3, Psalm 46:1, Genesis 1:1, 1 Peter 1:3, John 3:16)
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins and rose three days later. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our Advocate and Savior. And will one day return to claim His church. (John 14:6, Matthew 1:20-21, John 1:14, Philippians 2:9-11, Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 16:1-8, Luke 4:16-22)
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit’s purpose is to convict people of sin, guide them in truth, lead them in their walk with Jesus, and ultimately bring praise to Jesus. (John 14:26, Romans 8:26, 1 Corinthians 6:19, John 16:12-15)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God when we place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. This isn't based on anything we have done, but is given when we are truly sorry for our sins and believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead to pay the price for our sins. (Ephesians 2:1-10, John 3:16-17, Romans 10:9, Acts 4:12)
The Church
We believe that the church contains all who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. The church is united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head. We believe the purpose of the church is to love and worship God, love others, selflessly serve others, and take the gospel to the rest of the world. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12, 1 Peter 2:9)
Sin
We believe that sin is anything we say, think, or do that disobeys God's word, the Bible. A person's sin results in a broken relationship with God and many times with other people. (Romans 1:3, 1 John 3:4, Galatians 5:19-21)
Heaven and Hell
We believe that there are only two possible destinations after death: Heaven or Hell. We believe that those who accept the salvation of Jesus Christ will go to Heaven to be with Him for eternity, and those who reject Him will be separated from Him forever in Hell. (Revelation 20:10-15, Matthew 25:46, 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Revelation 21:4, John 14:2, Philippians 3:20-21)
